Our NFL team has had a wonderful experience over the past few months engaging in the 2025 Dublin Girls NFL Flag Championship. They had been meeting with such resounding success over the past few weeks but unfortunately yesterday was a tough day for the girls in the end. After brilliant performances against Loretto Crumlin, winning 44-6 and De La Salle Churchtown, 37-18, the girls lost to Larkin college in the semi-finals 18-7 and finished 3rd overall. A tough day but a rewarding experience and one that they will always cherish. We are so proud of their performances and the manner in which they carried themselves throughout the tournament. We thank Ms Begley and Mr O’Donnell who coached and guided them throughout the journey.
Holly Brennan won the most valuable offensive player of the entire tournament which is a fantastic achievement and even greater when considering 8 teams of 10-14 players took part in the tournament.
Thanks to both staff and parents for their support over the last number of weeks. It has been greatly appreciated by all involved.
