Global Citizenship – Marine Environment

Today, our Green Schools Committee, hosted a fantastic civvies day to raise awareness about marine biodiversity, conservation, and the impacts of marine litter. We are currently working on achieving our next flag in this area: Global Citizenship- Marine Environment. It was wonderful to see our school community turn out in their finest shades of blue and green, with some truly creative marine-themed outfits!
This morning at reception, students and staff made pledges to take meaningful actions to help protect our marine environment. Throughout the week, classes engaged in a variety of marine-themed activities and heard presentations from members of our Green Schools Committee.
A big thank you to everyone who helped with and participated in this event to promote such an important cause. Sincere thanks to Ms Derwin for organising this event for our school community.
