Cantairí Óga Átha Cliath concert – 8pm Friday March 8th in Rathmines Parish Church.

Apologies for the short notice on this, but Cantairí Óga Átha Cliath is hosting a concert ‘Tota Pulchra Es /Everything is Beautiful’ this evening  in the Church of Mary Immaculate Refuge of Sinners,Rathmines. It is a joint concert with another upper-voice choir based in Ranelagh, Dulciana. 

If St Louis families would like to attend, they would love to see you there.
On International Women’s Day and this Seachtain na Gaeilge, they are delighted to be presenting this joint concert of wonderful pieces for upper voices and a selection of pieces as Gaeilge by Irish composers.

Dublin based chamber choirs to perform ‘Tota Pulchra Es (You Are Completely Beautiful)’, a brand-new concert of music at the Church of Mary Immaculate, Rathmines

Dulciana Vocal Ensemble and Cantairí Óga Átha Cliath (The Young Dublin Singers), two award winning chamber choirs based in Dublin, are delighted to announce that for the very first time, they will come together to perform a brand-new concert of Irish and international works, called ‘Tota Pulchra Es (You Are Completely Beautiful). The concert will take place in the stunning setting of the Church of Mary Immaculate, Rathmines, on Friday March 8th at 8pm.

At ‘Tota Pulchra Es’, both choirs, directed by Judith Lyons, will perform an eclectic programme of choral music composed especially for upper voices, singing pieces by living Irish and European composers and arrangers such as Brennan and McGlynn, alongside historical works by well-known greats, including Taverner and Duruflé.
