BASKETBALL FINAL u19s

Unfortunately, today was not our day on the basketball court. Having led for most of the match, we were pipped in the end and the final score was 30-28 with Portmarnock Community School taking the win. Our players gave it everything. We are so proud of them. Thank you to all who played today and to the whole team who played in matches throughout the season. It was nailbiting stuff at the end for the wonderful supporters who loudly cheered throughout the match. Louis Lion even took to the centre court during the break between quarters to do a very impressive dance off! Sincere thanks to Coach G and Ms O’Reilly for their immense work with the team. The team has qualified for the all-Irelands and we wish them well with this in the new year. Whilst we know they were disappointed, a large guard of honour awaited them on their return to school to recognise their immense achievements and to stand by them at this time. The spirit of Ut Sint Unum was very evident. We know our players will taste more victories in the future. Go Louis!
