3rd-Year trip to the Chocolate Garden

Yesterday, our 3rd-year Home Economics students visited The Chocolate Garden of Ireland in Co. Carlow. Students participated in an informative workshop where they learned about the chocolate production process, the story behind this successful Irish artisan business, and the importance of supporting local food producers.
 
Students also participated in a chocolate-tasting session and had the opportunity to decorate and create their own chocolate moulds.
 
Congratulations to Isha and Holly, who won a prize each for their creativity in the chocolate-making activity! 
 
Sincere thanks to Ms Eustace and Ms Fairbanks for organising this fantastic trip.
