Message from Acting Deputy Principal Ms Mulcahy re Leaving Certificate Candidate Portal

It is now time for 6th year students to register for their Leaving Certificate examinations. We have given the relevant information to our 6th years at an assembly in school yesterday, with the also details posted on the 6th Year Team.
Please find attached the ‘Before you Start Guide’ for your attention. We have advised our 6th year students to read this guide carefully before they register for the portal, in order to avoid errors. This guide is also posted on the 6th Year Team.
The portal opened yesterday at 2 pm for Leaving Certificate candidates to register and activate their account and confirm their subject entries and levels. It will remain open for this purpose until 5 pm Friday October 25 2024. Candidates will be given a further opportunity to amend subjects/levels in February 2025.
It is essential that all candidates register through the Portal as this Portal will provide candidates with the opportunity to confirm their subject choices and levels, to also allow future access to their results and for the later stages of the process such as the appeals application process. There is helpdesk support available at 1800-111135 or 1800-111136 between 9 am to 5 pm until Friday 25 October 2025. Outside of these hours you can email candidateportal@examinations.ie
Any 6th year student who needs assistance with this process should call to see Ms Mulcahy in school. Please note that we have emailed all 6th year parents/guardians this information earlier today. If you did not receive this email, please email Ms Mulcahy at nmulcahy@stlouishighschool.ie and we will rectify this for you.
