A very successful careers day was held for 5th yrs today in school. Visiting speakers from a wide array of careers along with representatives from third level and further education colleges were welcomed to the school. It was lovely to welcome many past pupils, contacts and friends of St Louis. We thank them sincerely for generously giving of their time and expertise. Careers in the areas of Arts; IT; Marketing; Business; PR; Film; Theatre; Science; Engineering; Architecture; Medicine; Veterinary; Animal Care and Education to name but a few, along with an overview of many courses in various 3rd level institutions. Sincere thanks to Ms Dooley who organised and to Ms Farragher, office staff and TY assistants who helped with the smooth running of this busy day. Well done to all our 5th yrs who engaged so positively with the talks.
