Welcome and congratulations

We had a fantastic afternoon where we welcomed our own, Olympian, Stacey Flood, back to the school to honour her fantastic sporting achievements. Stacey plays rugby for both the Irish Women’s 15s and 7s. She recently played for Ireland in the Paris Olympics. Stacey was greeted by the SRC and was walked into the hall by Lena, our head girl. Stacey gave so generously of her time, sharing her sporting journey from her time in St Louis High School to today. She spoke about commitment, keeping healthy and fit, following your dreams, being in the moment and resilience. She joined in with some rugby training after school. We wish her every success both on and off the pitch in the future. Stacey was presented with a gift to mark her visit. She brought a jersey to the school which will be signed by the Irish team which we will frame and put on display in the sports foyer. Thank you to all who made this special event happen, especially to Ms Begley, Mr O’Donnell, Ms Rodgers, Ms Fairbanks, Ms Eustace, Darina and Donna.
