Incubation Project – New Arrivals!
This week, seven fertilised eggs arrived at school as part of our Incubation Project! The incubator is now set up in the school foyer, and we’re eagerly counting down to hatch day—expected around May 20th.
Once hatched, the chicks will spend about a week with us in a brooding box before returning to the farm. During their stay, the chicks are encouraged to be gently held and socialised—helping them become friendly and comfortable around people.
This is a lovely hands-on experience for students (and staff!) and a memorable way to round off the school year.
