Erasmus+ – Hydroponic Herb Farm- Pics

This week we planted our hydroponic herb farm for the first time. The idea came from our EU-funded trip to Konstanz last October. As part of our Erasmus+ project we looked at sustainable food production and urban gardening with our partner school, and swapped ideas on how we could develop our current food-growing initiatives in our respective schools. The herb farm is in the school reception area and we have planted basil which should be ready in a few weeks. All going well we should have our first harvest in time for the 3rd Years to use in their Home Economics practical exams in April.
