ECO FRIENDLY FRIDAYS

March 22, 2024

Here is the Ecotip of the week:

Many Easter eggs come wrapped in pretty foil, which makes us unsure whether it can be recycled or not.  Luckily, we can! The best way to recycle Easter egg foil is to scrunch all of your clean wrappers together into a ball before placing it into your recycling bin. Try saving all your wrappers (even from your small creme eggs!) in a cup or can until you have enough to make roughly the size of a tennis ball. If your ball isn’t big enough, that’s a sign to eat more chocolate! Have a happy Easter from the Green Schools Committee!
