The Senior Cycle is a two-year programme leading to the Leaving Certificate Examination at the end of Sixth Year. Before they commence Fifth Year, students will be asked to choose their subjects for the Leaving Certificate. Students usually take seven exam subjects.

All subjects are offered up to Honours/Higher Level in all subjects.
The students also have classes in Religion, PE and Social Education.
The Leaving Certificate Vocational Programme (LCVP) is also offered in the school. This programme is designed to give a strong vocational dimension to the Leaving Certificate (established). The programme combines the virtues of academic study with a new and dynamic focus on self-directed learning, enterprise, work and the community.
Assessment & Monitoring: During the Senior Cycle, each student’s progress is closely monitored and they sit regular exams in all subjects.
Mock Leaving Certificate Exams are held in late January/early February.
