Lucie secured a gold medal at the Young Economist of the Year 2024 awards in University of Limerick. Lucie also won the ‘Women in Economics Award’, nominated and presented by Dr. Olubunmi Ipinnaiye, Economics lecturer in the Kemmy Business School, UL. Lucie’s project was titled ‘An economic analysis of the Irish grocery retail sector and evaluation of its equity for consumers’.
She presented her project to the Minister for Public Expenditure, Paschal Donohoe, at the event. Congratulations to Lucie on this fantastic achievement. Thank you to Ms Lanigan who supported and accompanied.
