The fifth-year Art students, accompanied by Ms. Howard and Ms. Delaney, visited Newgrange today as part of their Leaving Certificate studies. The group explored the remarkable passage tomb and examined its ancient motifs, many of which predate the Egyptian pyramids. Students were captivated by the craftsmanship and symbolism within the chamber, gaining a deeper appreciation for Ireland’s rich artistic heritage. It proved to be an inspiring and educational experience for everyone involved. Sincere thanks to Ms Howard and Ms Delaney for organising this fantastic trip for our fifth-year students.
