SPRING CONCERT 2011
Hunter House College and St Louis High School Choral Exchange
St. Louis High School's annual Spring Concert was held in Cuisle, St. Louis Arts and Cultural Centre on Thursday March 24th 2011. As part of the concert the choir of Hunter House College, Belfast joined our senior choirs for a selection of choral favourites from the musicals. Our First-Year choir performed the short cantata, Jonah-Man Jazz by M Hurd. Soloists, our glee club and guitar group also featured as part of the evening performances. There was a fantastic turn out for this celebration of St. Louis musical tradition. It was lovely to welcome back some past pupils for the concert. They have many fond memories of their time in the various music groups in the school and it was reaffirming to see them as members of the audience on this occasion!

On March 31st, St Louis High School Senior Choir travelled to Hunter House College, Belfast to perform the selection of choral musical favourites. This was the second part of the choral exchange. The concert was a great success. We thank the Hunter House College community for its warm welcome and hospitality on the occasion of our visit. This joint musical venture brought girls from south and north of the border together to create two very memorable evenings of shared music making. Many friendships have been established and will develop over time via technology etc.! Please click here to view images of the concert in Hunterhouse College, Belfast.
